What is a PRP Treatment?
The vampire facial, also known as the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) facial, includes drawing blood from your arm, separating the platelets, and then injecting them into your skin via microneedling. Rich platelets can also be injected directly into the skin with a needle.
PRP injections or treatment has gained popularity due to the visible results with a single treatment. Rich platelets have healing properties and growth factors which improve skin health.
Treatments may be performed a 1-2 times a year for anti-aging or for skin correction. For stretch marks or scars, a series of treatments are required for best results. PRP injections are also very popular hair loss treatments in men and women.
How does the PRP procedure work?

The method of injection is through microneedling. We number the skin prior to optimize patient comfort. Once the numbing is activated, the patient should not feel anything. The blood is then drawn, spun twice in a centrifuge and the rich plasma is separated for use.
